EscaRosa COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN
Servicing Escambia and Santa Rosa County, Florida

If you do not have a recycling program in place, please consider supporting our recycling program. We are collecting used toners, cartridges, and cell phones and the money collected will help lower our administrative expenses. In 2009 when we started this initiative, we had not idea of the impact it was about to take. Our intention was to save a few dollars in helping pay for some of our annual printing services, it expanded into helping pay for standard office essentials as well. In 2009 a combined total of over $10,000.00 was saved in expensed. This was from direct cash back from turning in the empty units for cash and OfficeMax credit purchases.

This effort was noted during a CFC Conference in early 2010 as we gave a demonstration of its benefits. Since, several other area CFCs have started implementing this same initiative.

In March 2010, NETC Chief of Staff, Captain Markus Hannan, USN nominated our area to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Washington DC, Dept of CFC Operations for an Innovators Award. Even though we were not selected, we recede a personal call from Mr. Curtis Rumbaugh, OPM CFC Programs who personally congratulated us on this effort and commended us on taking on a task which reflected a positive image on the CFC program.

If your office IS NOT involved or if you are not sure, please call our office for details and to see how you too can make a difference.

Ways you can help:

- Is your office shopping at OfficeMax? Do you have a rewards account with them? If you do shop at OfficeMax and do not have a rewards account with them, please consider giving us a copy of your receipt so we can credit the purchase towards our rewards account. It cost you nothing and EscaRosa CFC will receive credit points towards the purchase of office supplies at OfficeMax stores. For more information on this initiative, please contact our office.

- We can provide your office with Prepaid shipping boxes so all you have to do is fill it up, sealed it, and either drop it off at any UPS Store or during the next UPS delivery at your office, ask the driver to take the shipment with them. It's that simple!
